Terms
Pilot deployment. These terms will be reviewed before general availability; the service is offered as-is while it is in pilot.
1. Service
darkmailer provides email aliases that forward mail to addresses you control, optionally encrypting messages to a PGP key you supply. The service is provided on a best-effort basis with no availability guarantee during the pilot.
2. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to send spam, phishing, or unlawful content.
- Do not use aliases to evade lawful obligations or impersonate others.
- Quota limits are enforced; attempts to circumvent them may end access.
3. Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed yearly (or monthly for Pro, by card). Card payments are processed by Polar, which acts as merchant of record; crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. If a paid plan lapses, existing aliases keep forwarding within the free plan's limits and new creation is paused until resubscribed.
4. No warranty
The service forwards mail; delivery is subject to the policies of the sending and receiving mail systems. We are not liable for mail that is delayed, blocked, or lost, nor for data held by third-party providers.
5. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or endanger the service.
